Avon Valley SGO

I took on the role of Avon Valley SGO this term (Sept'21). Previously 21 years as a PE teacher in West Sussex, Cheshire and predominantly Wiltshire. I have taught in primary and secondary schools, a prep school and was a school sport coordinator for several years. I cover the following areas: Tidworth, Pewsey, Marlborough, Amesbury and Durrington.

My partner, my 15yr old twin boys and I love getting up and active in all things non-traditional (motorbike trials, skiing, watersports!) and if we can tie it in with travelling and camping in our VW Caravelle then even better!

Youth Sport Trust PE Inclusion Lead for Swindon and Wiltshire

I am here to help, assist & advise you on how to include all your pupils in physical education & school sport. My aim is to ensure that all young people whatever their ability have a positive experience in your lessons & clubs.

This can be achieved through working directly with schools to provide free bespoke training during twilight sessions or on inset days. A typical course which introduces the principles of PE inclusion, inclusive sport formats & simple behaviour management techniques takes 3.5 hours. However, you can give me a brief & I will tailor the course to suit your requirements.
