Swindon Senior Games 2021

The 2021 Swindon Senior Games saw 5 teams from different care homes across Swindon compete in the following activities: golf putting, javelin throwing, target mat throwing and tin can alley.
The Games took place from Thursday 30th September 2021 until Sunday 3rd October 2021, known as Silver Sunday, a day celebrating the amazing contributions older people make to our communities.
5 teams submitted scores over the course of the four days of competition and these were The Ridings, Hurst House, Westminster Court, Kingsmead and Ridgeway Rise. All teams performed impressively across the four activities and this year saw the closest final standings possible.
For the second year running a member of the Guinness Care scheme took home the Virtual Senior Games trophy. New team Westminster Court impressed on their debut to the competition to pip Ridgeway Rise to the title by the barest of margins.
