Wiltshire and Swindon School Games

The Wiltshire and Swindon School Games logo

The School Games, which is funded by Sport England National Lottery Funding, is a government-led programme designed to inspire young people to be physically active for life through positive experiences of daily activity and competition. It places physical activity and competitive sport at the heart of schools and provides more young people with the opportunity to compete and achieve their personal best.

The School Games Mission is to:

make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people by ensuring youth sport is inclusive, accessible and fun!


School Games 2022-2023 Programme

The Wiltshire and Swindon School Games programme consists of:

  • area qualifying rounds leading to county finals
  • developmental events
  • virtual challenges.

It is coordinated and delivered by WASP in partnership with the School Games Organisers, Local Authorities, National Governing Bodies of Sport, local clubs and county associations.
