Our brand new Pupil Voice programme aims to give young people across Wiltshire and Swindon a platform to share their experiences of sport and physical activity.
The programme is run by Pupil Voice Ambassadors who have been selected to conduct surveys with pupils from their school, and other schools, to gather data on how young people in Wiltshire and Swindon are engaging in physical activity.
Data gathered will be used to inform the design of our future School Games Programmes, and other projects we deliver to help more young people to be active.
Resources and Support
How many questionnaires should we aim to complete?
This is a long term project and initially there are no minimum expectations in terms of numbers. We recommend that schools set pupil ambassadors a target of so many questionnaires each week/term.
When should Pupil Voice Ambassadors wear their hoodies and T shirts?
Becoming a Pupil Ambassador is a huge achievement to be celebrated! Hoodies and T shirts should be worn at every appropriate opportunity, particularly when collecting questionnaires and conducting interviews and at School Games events!
When should I complete a group questionnaire instead of an individual one?
The individual questionnaire is great for 1-1 conversations and gives us the best results so please use this where possible! If you have a larger group of people (for example, a tutor group or ICT class) the group questionnaire can be used.
How do I record a video?
When will we get to see the results?
The results will be shared and discussed at every Pupil Voice meeting. Schools with Ambassadors can contact Alma for detailed results. All other schools can contact their local School Games Organiser. Find their contact details here.
Can we send a link to the surveys round to other schools if we don't get chance to conduct them in person?
Who do we contact if we have any other questions?
If you have any other questions, please get in touch with School Games Lead, Alma, or submit your question using the form at the bottom of this page.
