On Thursday the 5th of May we launched our exciting new Pupil Voice programme at Abbeyfield School.
Pupil Voice is a new addition to our School Games Programme, and aims to provide pupils across Wiltshire and Swindon with a platform to share their experiences of Sport and Physical Activity. The programme is led by Pupil Voice Ambassadors from 10 schools, who will conduct surveys with their peers to gather insight to inform the design of the future School Games programme, and other WASP projects to support more young people to be active.
The day started with a presentation to inform ambassadors about the programme and their exciting role in the project. After this, ambassadors took part in team building activities led by fantastic Sports Enrichment Co-ordinators from Abbeyfield School. Finally, ambassadors learnt how to use iPads which they will be using to conduct surveys with their peers.
We are looking forward to viewing the results of the surveys conducted and using insight to engage more young people in Physical Activity.
