Hide and find a Painted Rock

Two activities in one – get creative and paint a rock, then take it out and hide whilst looking for one to swap it with. Post your adventures on one of the many Facebook pages dedicated to this trend and see how far your rock travels.

Visit Swindon’s Highs and Lows

Visit one of the viewpoints over Swindon at Barbury castle or Hackpen hill. Then stay at low level with Swindon’s choice of canals and lagoons (Coate/Liden/Peatmoor).

Family daily mile

Schools have a target to achieve 90 minutes of activity a day, this normally includes a 15-minute run/walk called the golden mile or daily mile – why not keep this going over the summer?

Lost Words Trail

Can you find the lost words hidden around Swindon? The lost words trail is a great way to spend time with your family and have fun exploring Swindon. There are two trails – one in central Swindon and one in Penhill.
