Get Active at Home

WASP have commissioned a number of local activity providers to make some video sessions for you to get active from the comfort of your own home.

Tips for Getting Active at Home

  1. Create a daily routine that includes time to exercise
  2. Change into appropriate clothes and footwear to get in the right frame of mind
  3. Crank up your favourite tunes to get inspired!
  4. Choose an activity that's right for your fitness levels (talk it over with a health professional if you are not sure)
  5. Drink plenty of water

Dance and Cheer

Join Caroline the Dance Lady for a range of fun, dance-based workouts!

  • Get Moving with Dance and Cheer!

    Playlist includes: salsa dance fitness, cheer dance fitness, and step dance fitness.


Yoga

Join Salisbury's Park Yoga instructor, Sarah Naylor, for a series of online yoga tutorials suitable for beginners and those more experienced. Sarah is a 500hr British Wheel of Yoga teacher and is keen to bring the opportunity to try yoga to anyone who hasn't before. No specialist equipment is needed for the sessions and participants can sit on a yoga mat, cushion, carpet, rug, blanket, towel, chair or sofa.

For the session, please ensure your space is clear and you are fit & well before taking part. If on a wooden floor remember to step off your blanket/towel when standing! Anyone with a medical condition or injury should first consult with a medical professional.

    4 videos including an introduction to yoga and specific session focusing on relaxation and meditation.


Football Skills

We have teamed up with Pezzaz Street Soccer and Wessex Futsal club to bring you a great series of football skills videos!

    Each video is about 30 minutes long and packed full of top drills, skills and more.


Family Fitness and HIIT

We have teamed up with Girls Love Fit in Salisbury to bring you these fantastic fitness videos fun for all the family!

  • Get Moving with Fitness and HIIT!

    Each workout is around 30 minutes long and is designed specifically to be done within your own home.


Seated Exercise

Join Inclusfit owner Sam James for exciting brand new Seated Dance and Inclusive Fitness sessions. This is suitable for anyone to take part in, but particularly those with limited mobility or who may struggle to take other forms of regular exercise.

Sam is a qualified Disability Fitness expert, Personal Trainer and holds numerous other instructor awards including Zumba and Seated Exercise. No specialist equipment is needed for the session other than a chair.

    Videos include: seated dance, Latin fever, and combat.
