UK Coaching collaborate with organisations and pool their resources to make lasting improvements to coaching in the UK - from grass-roots through to elite performance levels. They inform Government on policy that supports coaches to have a positive impact on society. And they develop learning that helps coaches support the needs and dreams of the people they coach.
They offer:
- Courses - online workshops, webinars, eLearning, face to face workshops. Examples of courses include Sudden Cardiac Arrest eLearning, Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshops and Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity.
- Resources- range of resources to develop your coaching skills, including podcasts, guides, articles and videos.
- UK Coaching Club- a platform uniting coaches of all levels, across sport and physical activity, giving you access to a network of like-minded connections, courses and resources to keep you on top of your game, and exclusive member benefits, discounts and events.
- General support - funding, job opportunities.
Developing an Inclusive Volunteer Programme
Everyone should have the ability to access volunteering opportunities. In partnership with Volunteering Matters, the Activity Alliance have created a Get Out Get Active (GOGA) Volunteer Management Toolkit, which provides organisations with a step-by-step guide to building an inclusive volunteer programme.
